- Nokia announce the Nokia 8.1, giving you a 3500mAh battery, a Snapdragon 710 and Android Pie with Android One for £380, as well as the Nokia 3.1 Plus with a 6" screen without a notch, 2 day battery life and a Helio P22 for £170 and the European availability of the Nokia 5.1 Plus, available for £200 in the UK
- Qualcomm announce the Snapdragon 855, the processor that will be in nearly all of next year's Android flagships, with 45% faster performance, support for 5G and real time background blurring for video with the new Spectra 380 chip
- The design of the Galaxy S10+ leaks, showing thinner bezels, a quad camera and... a weird rectangular display cutout
- Google Allo is shutting down in March
